If you feel like furthering your knowledge, watch this video. It starts out a little slow but gets really informative by the end. If you've gone to college (and you aren't wealthy/parents didn't pay the whole bill) then this video will definitely strike a chord with you. I think that the student loan bubble burst may trigger the full on collapse of the dollar eventually. How many people do you know that have had to file for deferment?...I have a list...

ReplyDeleteThe documentary doesn't address specific degrees (besides some mention of law degrees). It's more of a rundown of the whole system in general: the way that most of us in the US were taught to think about high school, college and what that education would provide us with. The effects of the No Child Left Behind Act and the government subsidizing of student loans without the proper qualification of applicants (creating the student loan bubble), the increasing college tuition prices, book costs and never ending construction on college campuses...a lot of thought provoking information.
